Advancing Molecular Diagnostics in Western Tamil Nadu
The grand opening of the Coimbatore Molecular Diagnostics Laboratory (CMDL) was held on 8th June 2025, organised by Coimbatore Kidney Care and Research Limited. The event was attended by prominent doctors, senior specialists, and skilled laboratory technicians from across western Tamil Nadu, marking a significant milestone in regional healthcare.
During the ceremony, Dr. Anil Tarigopula, Director of CMDL, delivered a short but impactful address. He highlighted CMDL’s mission to bring cutting-edge molecular diagnostics closer to the community, ensuring faster, more accurate results that directly support patient care. “Every test we run represents a patient’s hope and a doctor’s trust. CMDL is committed to meeting that responsibility with precision and compassion,” he said.
Following the formal inauguration, Dr. Anil and his team conducted a guided tour of the facilities, showcasing the advanced platforms for molecular cytogenetics, oncology diagnostics, infectious diseases, and personalized medicine testing. The tour concluded with an interactive discussion session over light refreshments, where doctors and specialists exchanged insights on integrating CMDL’s services into routine clinical practice.
